Message for Website Today, I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Kirit Somaiya, a distinguished Ex-Member of Parliament (MP) and Senior BJP leader, at his office in Mulund. His charitable health trust, which conducts free medical services every Saturday, is a shining example of selfless service to society. This initiative provides much-needed support to the underprivileged by distributing essential medical equipment, including hearing aids for senior citizens, and offering assistance for heart, kidney, and cancer patients. I was invited to this noble event by my close friend, Mr. Natubhai Parekh, who serves as the PRO for health initiatives under Mr. Kirit Somaiya. Mr. Parekh’s dedicated efforts in managing the trust’s health charity work are truly admirable, making a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals. As a renowned Chest and Tuberculosis Specialist with over 36 years of experience, I deeply appreciate such initiatives that complement the healthcare system. Besides my clinical practice, I serve as a faculty member for postgraduate students in Chest Medicine and Tropical Medicine, mentoring UG, PG, and faculty members at Podar Medical College. Witnessing and supporting such charitable endeavors reinforces the importance of collaborative efforts to address the healthcare needs of our society. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Kirit Somaiya and his team for their tireless commitment to serving humanity.
